Designing and weaving felt tapestry art
Tapestry is a type of material craftsmanship, generally woven by hand on a loom. Felt and Tapestry Art is weft-confronted weaving, in which all the twist threads are covered up in the finished work, not at all like fabric weaving where both the twist and the weft threads might be noticeable.
The tapestry was made of colored wool and silk thread (sometimes silk). They were hand knitted into separate pieces on a special knitting machine and then tied together with a thin silk thread.
